Southern Leisure Estate

Designed in collaboration with Sharif Munir Homes, Southern Leisure Estate represents a luxury landscape where architecture, outdoor living, and the natural environment were conceived as one unified composition. Situated on a prominent estate property in Preston Hollow, this landscape was envisioned for gracious entertaining, multi-generational family gatherings, and everyday enjoyment while respecting the mature character that defines one of Dallas' most distinguished neighborhoods.

The homeowners selected a striking blue standing-seam roof that became the visual inspiration for the landscape palette. Warm natural stone, richly textured planting, and handcrafted site details were composed to complement the architecture while creating a timeless Southern estate aesthetic.

Curvilinear paver drives and pedestrian walks guide visitors toward a dramatic exposed timber porte-cochère and auto court, establishing an elegant arrival sequence. Layered evergreen screening, flowering shrubs, specimen trees, and colorful perennial gardens soften the architecture while weaving naturally through the estate's perimeter fencing.

The rear landscape steps gracefully toward the natural creek corridor below through a series of terraces. Original Landscape Concepts designed and constructed substantial natural stone retaining walls and a cascading waterfall that visually connects the formal garden to the creek landscape.

A custom koi pond became a signature feature of the estate. Engineered with advanced filtration, it is framed by natural stone walls and architectural stone scuppers that create gentle flowing water, visual elegance, and calming white noise throughout the garden.

An extensive landscape lighting master plan transforms the property after sunset, illuminating specimen trees, architecture, pathways, water features, and gathering spaces to create an unforgettable evening experience.

Plantings emphasize evergreen structure, mature shade trees, seasonal color, and long-term beauty, resulting in a landscape that feels established, timeless, and distinctly Preston Hollow. This project reflects Original Landscape Concepts' continuing collaboration with Sharif Munir Homes in creating luxury landscape environments that enhance exceptional architecture and increase long-term property value.
