Mike Dickerson and Dave Hunchik are the creative force behind Original Landscape Concepts Inc., a premier Dallas landscape design and construction firm serving North Texas since 2008.

Original Landscape Concepts brings together decades of landscape design-build experience, formal design education, and close collaboration with trusted professional partners. Mike Dickerson has worked in the landscape design-build industry since 1980. Over more than four decades, Mike has developed a long history of estate project planning, landscape development, and high-end outdoor environments across Preston Hollow, Highland Park, Lakewood, University Park, and the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, working closely with internal crews, outside consultants, specialty trades, and design professionals to bring complex projects from concept through completion.

Our design process is further supported by David Hunchik, who holds a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto and brings formal design training to site planning, planting design, hardscape layout, outdoor living concepts, and construction coordination.

As a design-build firm, Original Landscape Concepts leads each project as the design and project-management team, developing the overall vision, coordinating the design disciplines, managing budgets and schedules, and overseeing construction so the original intent carries through from first concept to final completion. When a project calls for specialized expertise, we bring in and direct a carefully selected network of licensed professionals who work in concert with our crews, giving clients a single point of accountability throughout.

For projects requiring registered landscape architectural services, sealed drawings, or professional oversight, Original Landscape Concepts works closely with a Texas-registered Landscape Architect who provides the appropriate professional review, supervision, and documentation when required.
