Keller Landscape Architect

Northeast Tarrant County, between Fort Worth and the northern suburbs. Hidden Lakes and beyond.

Keller doesn't get as much attention as the Collin County markets but the residential quality is serious. Hidden Lakes in particular. Large lots, custom homes, established community standards, and homeowners who've invested in what they've got. We bring the same design-build approach here that we bring to Preston Hollow or Westlake.

The lots give you room. Pool, detached spa, covered outdoor kitchen, garden zones with real depth, lawn panels that flow between them. The design work is about sequence and composition: how you move from the house through the space, what you see from where, how the finished property holds together rather than reads as separate projects stacked in a yard.

Many Keller properties in the older sections carry mature canopy. That's a design asset. You don't uproot a twenty-five-year-old cedar elm for pool placement convenience. You design around it, build over it with proper root zone management, and let it anchor the composition. On newer properties, we plan for the canopy that will exist in fifteen years. Both approaches matter.

KISD families tend to use their back yards seriously. They entertain. Kids use the pool. The covered structure gets used from October through April. We size pavilions and outdoor kitchens to match how the family actually lives, not a showroom version of how someone imagines they might.

Hidden Lakes HOA requires architectural review for pools and structures. We prepare the submission package and manage the review. City of Keller permits run parallel. Four to eight months start to finish on a complete estate project, depending on scope and review timing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you handle Hidden Lakes HOA submissions?

Yes. Full documentation package, submission, and correspondence through approval. You don't deal with the committee directly.

How do you work around mature trees in an established Keller yard?

They're anchors, not obstacles. We design hardscape to respect root zones, build protection fencing before equipment arrives, and treat the canopy as part of the outdoor living experience.

Timeline on a full estate project in Keller?

Four to eight months from design kickoff through installation, depending on scope. HOA review and city permitting both factor into that window.
